Eddie Smith & Herman Simon

Eddie Smith and Herman Simon are longtime friends of PCC. Together, they worked with college administrators to start the VISIONS Career Development and Scholarship Program in 2004. VISIONS assists Pitt County high school students in need of financial support, educational mentoring and career guidance to help them obtain diplomas and move into higher education or the workforce.

Walter and Marie Williams

Walter & Marie Williams

Longtime PCC supporters, several campus facilities have been named for Walter and Marie Williams, including the 78,000-square-foot Walter and Marie Williams Building that opened in 2017. Other rooms bearing their names are the Williams Faculty/Staff Dining Room in the Craig F. Goess Student Center, Williams Auditorium in the William E. Fulford Building and a classroom in the Herman Simon Building.

Parker & Becky Overton

Parker and Becky Overton have been supporting the PCC Foundation for many years. The college’s intercollegiate baseball team plays home games at Minges-Overton Baseball Complex on Pitt’s main campus, and a classroom in the Herman Simon Building is named in their honor.
