Kiwanis of the Golden K Foundation Donates to Ricks Scholarship

On behalf of the Kiwanis of the Golden K Foundation, Bob Hursey (left) and Ray Jernigan (right) present a $1,000-check to PCC Foundation Executive Director Beth Sigmon in support of the Ricks Automotive Scholarship. Established in memory of former Golden K Kiwanis member Ed Ricks, the scholarship is awarded annually to a second-year PCC Automotive Systems Technology student. Ricks, who once operated a service station in Greenville, is remembered by those who knew him for his dedication to excellent automotive service and commitment to helping young people succeed.
