The Boyce Nursing Scholarship Endowment was recently established at Pitt Community College by the family of Floyd G. and Hilda B. Boyce in order to honor Mrs. Boyce and her profession, nursing. Mr. Boyce and his family wanted to assist others in realizing their dreams of becoming nurses. When Mr. Boyce died in July 1997, his family and friends established this $10,000-endowment fund to award nursing scholarships at the college. The endowment is also dedicated to the memory of the Boyce’s son-in-law, Jinks Wilson McKeithan Jr. Pictured above, from left to right, are Donna Boyce McKeithan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd G.
