2016 PCC FOUNDATION GOLF CLASSIC

2016 Golf ClassicGREENVILLE—The Pitt Community College Foundation held the 18th Annual Fall Golf Classic at Greenville Country Club Sept. 15.

Morning foursomes teed off with a shotgun start at 8:30 at the par-71, 6,568-yard course. The afternoon round got underway with a shotgun start at 1:30.

Each round featured three flights, with gift certificates being awarded to the top two foursomes from each morning and afternoon flight. Teams utilized the “superball” format, but handicaps were not factored into the final results.

Proceeds from the tournament will go to the PCC Foundation to fund student scholarships and educational activities at PCC.
